Dexter Beckett McGinty was an unexpected blessing. However, we grew to appreciate the fact that our lives were going to change and we were ready to welcome it with open arms and open hearts. Dexter was very anticipated and loved deeply. We have wonderful memories created in our minds already about this amazing little boy. We knew he'd be a geek, like his Mommy and Daddy and that his big brother, Ian and big sister, Avery, were going to be great examples to him. I love my son more than I can put into words and while I still feel it's unfair that he was taken from me, I hope that God had a plan for this. And I hope Dexter will help send us a baby we can love on Earth. We will always love you, Dexter B .. we are your parents forever.

A precious Angel
I am so sorry for your loss though words can never take away the pain you feel so deeply everyday. Your precious one is a handsome one!! Even though we may never understand the reason things happen as they do but always keep in mind things happen because they ARE GOD's plan and for every obstacle he places infront of us there is always something waiting on the other side. " The stars in the sky arent stars but rather openings in the floor of heaven to where the love from our precious angels pour through and shinedown on us letting us know they are happy"
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family as you walk this long journey in life...Maybe Dexter is up in Heaven playing with my precious Hayden and waiting for the day to be reunited with you.

I heard you crying yesterday,
And felt your heart-sent love.
So I’m sending you this message
Now, from Heaven up above.
You’re wondering if I’ll celebrate
My Birthday (way up here).
I know you’re missing me today
I feel your essence near.
God planned a special day for me,
He told me with a wink.
He’d ordered me a special cake
(It’s Angel food, I think).
Balloons will fill the streets for me,
They float up through the clouds.
And we have lots of friends up here
That make us laugh out loud.
There is a Birthday carousel,
Jewelled horses ride the wind,
With music playing, oh so sweet…
The magic never ends.
I’ve made so many friends, you see
We laugh and play and sing.
We ride our bikes and play jump rope
And sleep in Angel’s wings.
We’ll have our cake and ice cream
And open gifts - SURPRISE!

The Invisible Cord
We are connected, my baby and I,
By an invisible cord not seen by the eye.
It's not like the cord that connected us 'till birth,
This cord can't be seen by anyone on earth.
This cord does its work, right from the start,
It bonds us together, attached at the heart.
I know that its there though no one can see,
The invisible cord, from my baby to me.
The strength of this cord, it's hard to describe,
It can't be destroyed, it can't be denied.
It's stronger than any cord, man could create,
It withstands the tests, can hold any weight.
And though you are gone, not here with me,
The cord is still there, but no one can see.
It pulls at my heart, I am bruised....I am sore,
But this cord is my lifeline, as never before.
I am thankful that we are connected this way,
A mother and baby, death can't take it away!
